Grants Process

Trust Aims

The Trust follows the wishes of Keith and Ena Laugesen, and supports projects that benefit young people in our community, with a particular interest in music and education.

Successful applications are typically those which:

• are from an established and stable organisation

• are from an organisation that will find it difficult to secure funds from governing bodies and other major sources of funds

• for capital expenditure or improvements, rather than operational costs such as salaries and wages (however these are granted on occasion where the salary/wages are for a specific project).

• do not have a religious affiliation associated with the project (if the request is from an organisation with religious affiliation).

Application Dates

Applications can be emailed to the Trust at any time. The Trustees meet twice a year, typically in April and October, to assess applications and award grants where applicable.
